# Turnkey Casino Platform: What to Look for Before You Sign
Every turnkey platform demo looks good. The differences that matter — the ones that cost you money three months into operations — are almost never in the demo.
1. Platform stability
- Documented uptime over the last 12 months? Numbers, not adjectives.
- How is scheduled maintenance handled? Full downtime or rolling?
- What's the escalation path for a P1 during your prime-time hours?
2. Game aggregation depth
- How many providers are actually live vs. "available on request"?
- Are top-tier providers (Pragmatic, Evolution, Play'n GO, Hacksaw) already integrated?
- Which titles are exclusive to specific white labels and therefore unavailable to you?
3. Payment flexibility
- Can you plug in **your own PSP contracts** or are you locked to the platform's?
- Do funds land in your account or the platform's wallet first?
- What's the process for adding a new payment method in a target GEO?
4. Exit terms
Read the termination clauses **before** you sign. Specifically: - Notice period on either side - What happens to player data on termination - Data export format and timeline - Any post-termination revenue share tails
5. Support SLAs
- Response time on a P1? On a P2?
- Support in your timezone or theirs?
- Named account manager or ticket queue?
6. Scalability
- What's the platform's largest current customer by monthly turnover?
- Any rate limits on API calls or transactions?
- What happens when you outgrow the standard package?
7. Compliance and reporting
- Does the platform generate the reports your regulator requires out of the box?
- Are responsible gambling controls exposed properly to players?
- Can you export raw event data for your own BI stack?
8. Product roadmap
- What has shipped in the last 12 months?
- What's on the roadmap that you actually care about?
- How much of the roadmap is dictated by the largest customer (which is not you)?
The pattern
First-time turnkey operators usually get 1, 2, and 3 right and get burned by 4 and 6. Ask the exit-terms question first — the answer tells you almost everything you need to know about who the platform actually optimises for.
